FAQ
-
What does it cost?
$250 for eight 30-minute classes
-
How long is each class?
30 minutes. I value your time and will start and end promptly as such. I believe in getting a good value for your money so I’ll make sure your kids are stronger swimmers (and ready for a nap) after each lesson!
-
Do you teach private lessons?
No. Due to high-demand and personal philosophy, I only teach semi-private group lessons at this time.
*I do, however, teach crash-course lessons to families if that interests you.
-
Do you offer discounts?
YES! As a first-responder family ourselves, I offer $25 OFF to veterans, first responders, & teachers. Just let me know what you do and I will share my promo code with you for checkout!
I also offer $50 OFF any swimmer’s 2nd or 3rd practice session using code 'REPEAT' at checkout!
*Details will be verified upon checkout
-
How many sessions should I sign up for?
1 session equals 4 total hours of instruction. While this may be enough swimming practice for some, additional sessions are signifigantly helpful and welcomed. Use code ‘REPEAT’ at checkout for $50 off additional sessions!

Why choose Mrs. Sarah?
Enjoy the convenience of staying home so you don’t have to load soggy kids into your car all week! I also try to keep pricing affordable compared to most traveling swim agencies who can charge up to $50/class. I am also a licensed paramedic & former school teacher, so I am very comfortable around kids & place a high emphasis on water safety.

You are encouraged to sign up for a different session if your family must miss more than 2 classes. Unfortunately, there are no refunds for missed classes due to the fact a space has been reserved specifically for your child.
-
Absolutely! I love teaching siblings, as they tend to challenge and learn from one another. If you are concerned before booking, please give me a call and we can discuss.
-
Yes! Babies can start acclimating to water and breath control starting at 6 months. For those aged 6 months-3 years, I teach parent-and-child classes with an adult in the water. These classes can have up to 8 families for some real fun!

I travel throughout McKinney, and if it fits my schedule, sometimes surrounding cities. Contact me if you’d like to see if I can come to your area.
-
Except for inclement weather, I do not offer refunds or rescheduling due to high-demand and the fact that a space has been reserved specifically for your child. You can, however, substitute a swimmer of a similar skill level for a refund.
-
No, I only travel to local backyard or HOA pools.
-
Please arrive 5 minutes early with sunscreen applied and a towel. Kids who are not yet potty-trained should be in a swim diaper. I prefer swimmers to not wear goggles, as I will teach them not to depend on them for safe swimming.
-
I will email families at least 2 hours prior to class if lightning is in the forecast. Class will be rescheduled or refunded.

I have been WSI (Water Safety Instructor) certified by the American Red Cross for over 10 years. I am also a licensed paramedic by trade with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from The University of Texas.
